G'day guys,

Few months after buying my very first skyline (34GTT) started to get some warning lights coming on, specifically the engine light and the traction control/slip light. The car shudders for a second as they come on and then drives absolutely normal, but the lights stay on. Then if I restart the car these warning lights turn off. Sometimes this happens straight from ignition and at other times approx 10 minutes into the drive, happens about once a week. Computer says that HICAS and ignition codes are coming up, not traction control. Any ideas?

Do a search man :P.

Typical R34 gtt coil pack fcuk up.

Here u go

its the coilpacks, apparantly the original ones are crap.

Had the same problem, changed to spitfires never had the lights pop up again

I remember years ago a 'reputable' QLD tuner telling me that he'd never heard of such a stupid thing as Nissan packs dying, I argued the point and refused to ever let him near my car again.

Wonder if he agrees now?
