Seatbelts.

My seatbelts are crap. They lock on the slightest incline and don't retract very well. Can you buy the factory belts anywhere? Failing that (they're probably illegal) can anyone suggest a good brand/type to replace them with?

Also, I've seen photos of some Skylines still in Japan, and it seems that it has that small plastic bracket to help stop the belt from digging into your shoulder. It's a common thing on some coupes, and I feel that the Skyline's seatbelts would be a lot comfier with it on. Why on earth did they remove it for compliance?

They weren't all removed on compliancing. My mate has 1 and i see plenty of others around.

I haven't noticed the seatbelt digging into me but then again i've never sat in a car with the bracket either.

they surely removed the seatbelt extender for compliancing.. had to go down to the wreckers and picked one up for $20 only

Pushead, which wrecker? Just Jap in Kirrawee (Sydney) don't have any seatbelt stuff at all.

is there any way of putting the extender back on without having to cut a slit in the side?
