Lost My Keys!

Well, i went to the beach yesterday did some fishing with the girlfriend, and lost my keys in the sand.....

I have no fu**ing idea what i'm going to do. We looked for hours, but nothing. Got RAC to come out and break into it, then got it towed back home..... What should i do..

Get the vin number and lots of I.D, take it all to Nissan and ask for new keys...and hide a spare somewhere. Unless i'm wrong of course.

Yeah, should definately have spares regardless. Possibly change the ignition barrel as well so the lost keys are useless. Not sure if getting replacement keys or a new barrel would be cheaper....

as keets said, go to nissan and take as much infor as you can...

my bro works at northside nissan and i got him to cut a brand new GTR style key for me... he looked up the key details and it told him the specifics on this handheld cutting tool. Its then an original cut not a copy of a worn key if you went to "mr mint" or similar.

Ask for Adam McGuinness and tell him Scott sent you

Man, I did exactly the same thing the day before yesterday in Perth. I was driving the folks car and I remember sitting on a hard plasic chair and the keys becoming a literal pain in the ass, so I remember removing them from my pocket. WHERE!?!?

I only remembered that night that I had been to see a JP to get a Stat Dec signed. Went in the next morning and thank god!

I spent half the night pacing up and down biting my nails. Going to cut some copies today. Never got a spare set when I bought the car.
