hey i am converting my a31 cefiro from automatic to manual using an RB20DET 5spd cefiro halfcut. the engine and gearbox have been dropped in however i am having issues bolting up the gearbox crossmember to the car. it seems as if the gearbox needs to be about 30-40mm backwards for the holes in the crossmember to line up with the car. should i be using a different gearbox crossmember? someone has suggested i use one from ca/sr s13. any help is appreciated :pwned:

Hey champ i just completed that very conversion and i used a s13 sr20det crossmember i am pretty sure though you can use and s13 ca or sr or s14 manual crossmember but must be from manual

all c33/r32/a31 crossmembers dont fit :)

good luck should work sweet i couldnt mount the angle bracket though but that dont matter mate

just mount the chassis bolts and gearbox bolts and s13 lines up perfect :(

let me knoe if any other issues cause my mate and i did it and there are a few little teething problems but just persivere :)

I had a little trouble getting my clutch to engage at the right time and disengage and not slip...wierd i think it is sorted now but my master cyl and slave set up was from r32 front cut ...i had to shorten the master cylinder rod and tapsome more thread into the rod to give pedal a bit of free play when disengaged

good luck bud :)
