The ET for this car still shocks me - when are they running it again?!?!? Should be almost a whole second quicker.

car was built to use transbrake and nos

this pass was completed with no trans brake just walking it off the line, it didnt see boost till about 70 feet.

carlos has sold the radials and is now running slicks, he has a goal of around 8.7 and high 150 mph trap speed.

i was hoping he would stick with the radials and give theo some one to play with, but he has no passion for the street tyres.

also the car weighed 3600 pounds when he ran 150 mph. and that was with a T88, his current turbo is much larger.

NOS is fine under this category?

10.008et at 139.99 is now the top off the list. i ran that at the sport compact meet last weekend. this was first pass off the trailer with only 23 psi on board and on another pass ran 143.33 mph.

we have to sort the torque convertor out as it doesnt like the extra torque of the 3liter bottom end. so with the boost up i am looking forward to mid nines and around 150 mph

Shane,

Are you looking at getting the car off the line quicker (60 foot) or just getting the converter to lock up better and down the track?

Shane,

at this stage just better down the track, it slipped all weekend at the sport compact meet and ultimately cost us going a nine at that event.

the car has 145 mph in it the way it sits with a fully functioning convertor, so i need to get the convertor to handle what we have now and another 200 hp or more as we are only just at the bottom of the efficiency range of this turbo.

as far as sixty foot goes. on the weekend the 10.00 it 1.68 sixty footed the rest were 2.0's and worse. this was due to not enough gas.

so it needs a bit more gas with this stall speed and a more efficient convertor that will hold the power and it will come together.

at 3500 pounds its never going to look exciting off the line. i would be happy with low 1.6's to high 1.5's

the 10.1 from obehve wasn't on slicks, that time was run on a street legal M/T. yes, its a mickey thompson but its still a full street legal radial :)

the only time obehve has run on full slicks was years ago and he ran a 10.3, with more impovements from atp and danny at initial d racing the car is running better times

with a full street trim setup
