i would say a non turbo import.. much cheaper.. prob less on fuel.. and once u get of your P's it easyier to do up..

its hard to find a stock r32 gts manual as i havent found one yet here a few 180 sx and s13's but its hard finding a stock as a rock import in the areas im looking at

Can you be a bit more specific about what cars you are considering. Fair enough you have looked for non-turbo r32's but what "home built" cars are you considering? and what other imports?

In my opinion it is easier to find a stock r32 gts that gts-t etc, cause more people are likely to do up the turbo models.

Also, sorry for this question, but what exactly is the new P-Plate restrictions in Queensland?? is it just no turbos no matter what???

Edited by r32line

as far as i have known been a little while since i checked

on the internet it said no v8 or turbo but when i called up the queensland transport they said it wil be a power restriction being announced in febuary

Well based on that list I would be hunting for an r32 non-turbo. There is also the R32 GTS25 with the rb25de so you have an n/a 2.5lt straight 6 which is a nice smooth engine and would be a nice drive!

Also you should be able to find one that has had an easier life than most of the turbo models and if u look after it, it should serve you well, plus you can pick them up pretty cheap!

Best of luck, let us know how it goes...

P.S, here is just one example i found in QLD on carsales, im sure the price could be negotiated as non-turbo's are obviously less popular:
