Carmen imports at Brendale just quoted me $500 for timing belt replacement, $1000 for timing belt and tensioners, seals etc.

Then he said $350 for spark plugs, oil, oil filter and fuel filter, sounds a bit steep eh people ?

lol.. that is a bit steep.. but only by 200 or so.. but 350 for damn filter changes..

basically ur looking at a 100,000kms service.. do ur waterpump too.. its good practice.

haha last time i saw east coast customs workshop...well i wouldnt even call it that. I think we have more gear and knowledge then them in our back shed. haha. There really are some workshops out there that are a real joke.

Stick with people that have been around for a while and are reputable, so if something does go wrong they can back up their work with support or atleast pay for something to get fixed or replaced if something does happen to go wrong without any major hassles.

I would say Dan is great, and Mercury Motorsports.

But seriously he offers really competitive pricing and doenst bullshit you like some other mechanics and also does a great job.

Yeah the place is a mess, and it feels like you are walking in on the set of Fast and the Furious with the music and all the cool attitude .

ill chuck in charlies motors at wooloongabba. Tune a few of the drifters around brisbane and i know they arn't complaining. Never had a problem with them, and im always confident they will get it right and at a reasonable price.

ive thrown a bit of work charlies way and dave and charlie were excellent

no dramas with them

Gavin Wood did some work on my old 32 and he's down the coast. He's a good Nissan bloke, worked with them for years
