GTR torque controller?!

Ive seen the mod/s performed on autospeed, and Ive seen the manual hydraulic kits, and Ive heard of the HKS controllers, but has anyone actually used them? Gibson racing used to have some sort of launch control, but I thought their cars were manual hydraulic? I have some theories on how to make an electronic launch control for ATESSA, but have yet to test them (or even own a GTR). Anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.

I've never used one, but the HKS units plug into the ATTESA computer and override the signals. You can dial in how much front torque you want - simple as that.

I'm not sure if John Munro has still got the HKS unit in the silver 33 GTR he bought off Doug (different car from the 9 sec GTR), maybe he could enlighten you....
