Basically the reason i want to get rid of the factory 180km/h speed limiter is because im getting into track racing alot more now and want to be able to stay competitive on some of the longer tracks like bathurst and the creek.

i want to know is there a way to do it without buying parts? and if so what wires need to be cut at the ecu and have u actually done this and had the desired result?

feed back appreciated.

mods if u want to move this thread u can.

Wouldnt it have been removed in the tune you just got?

Bathurst supersprint you'll just hit it if you're lucky, and in a stock car like you say - it wont.

EC you will hit it.

But yeah, tune?

get an aftermarket chip...

or cut wire 53, but as rumor goes this affects hicas and certian shit themselves at different speeds etc etc.......

ive got my greddy turbo timer hooked up to wire 53 so theres a digital readout.. theres a website somewhere with the colours etc..
