Will Fuel Pump Affect My Tune?

Im going to get my car tuned on friday.I ordered a nismo fuel pump last week and they are telling me it wont arrive till monday tuesday next week.

Will not having the nismo pump installed affect the over all tune?

I know fitting the pump wont provide any power gains, just so the fuel pressure is up to the task.

Anyone had any probs with the standard pump on the dyno?

It will if your current pump is a little lazy or you start to push out big numbers and fuel pressure drops

I wouldnt get it tuned until the pump is in.

As you dont know if the current pump is upto the task or not, so its not worth wasting dyno time just to find that out

What power you chasing? Sub 200 I'd get the pump pressure checked, it could be OK. Anything over 220rwkw and its your $$$$ your using, but I wouldn't do it.

At the moment its only running stock turbo,so it should hit 200rwkw on 11psi.Im going to change the tune date to next week,the pump will be in the car by then.
