Dezz in addition to you letter you are writing to the prime minister expressing your disgust with the fine you received I was wondering if on my behalf you could also add some additional information for me and I’ll also send a copy myself.

Id also like to express my disgust with the EPA and also Vic roads, their incompetence astounds me with a department set up to control certain factors yet once faced with the factors their meant to control have no idea and are unable to answer the public question.

Vicroads response was im sorry were not mechanics nor engineers so we cant tell you if that’s safe or correct.. Ok their a governing body yet have no idea.

Then a Law at the epa is down to the discretion of the person on the day woohoo for equal rights, and ensuring that our time is wasted for a good reason…

Could you also include........

Mr.Whippy?

I'm getting sick of this dude.

He keeps coming down my street, with his music blaring, surely this has to be an EPA issue?

If it's not him, it's that "Home Ice-Cream" guy... the one with the bell?

DING!DING! DING!DING!

I'd like to give him *$%#@* DING!DING!

They aren't emergency vehicles, they shouldn't be allowed to make so much bloody noise.

Thanks to Mr.Whippy, I'll never again be able to enjoy "Greensleeves".

It's all Bracksy's fault.

Ok i totally agree with that home icecream guy.... He use to sit out the front of my house belting the crap out of his bell while i was washing my car... Never brought anything nor did i have any intentions... He stopped doing it after i brought the great dane out the front and told him to shove his bell or i'll let the dog loose into his bloody truck.... :ninja:

He said we don't have to drink shit water...and wants to make industry use it instead....he just went up a notch in my book...that puts him at notch 1

I did miss it the other night but on one of those today tonights they were saying some ppl already are drinking shitty recycled water and dont even know about it so does that keep one notch for bracks???

Ah, it'll be @ Civic Compliance then, just near Flagstaff Station, second floor i think

It's Level 1 of 277 Williams Street (up the top, near flagstaff station) entrance is between the post office and the bank (Westpac?), opposite The Mint, which is a nice pub on the other corner.

If you do go for look, for god's sake use the stairs, the amount of lazy sh!ts that take the lift one floor amazes me. The lifts in this building are crap at the best of times, by the time you wait for a lift, then the ice age like time it takes to crawl up a level, wait for a while and open the doors you could have walked up 3 times. (also the lifts have been stuck several times, dropped entire levels in freefall, and don't tend to stop level with the floor)

In case you hadn't guessed, I work in the same building (Level 7 though, nothing to do with the speed camera guys, they are levels 1 to 6).

While I'm thinking about it, if you pressed the Down button to call a lift, then one arrived but the 'down' light didn't come on above the lift, and the 'down' indicator on the call button is still lit, is it just me who would think it isn't my lift? I've seen people get in a lift on level 1 (even though there was no 'down' indications), then look really disgusted that other people have the audacity to want to go up in a lift is amazing. I don't bother pointing out I'm going up anymore, stuff them, if they can't figure out how a lift works then they deserve to have their time wasted. I don't tell them about indoor plumbing in case they can't grasp the concept.

Yes I love sharing the building with the speed camera people (Tenix Solutions), especialy as their ID badges look the same as ours (Tenix Defence). I always take mine off before I get into the lift.

People are idiots.

If they can't figure out how it works, it's their problem.

......it's not as if an elevator is new technology.

If a 80 year old can work an ATM machine, people between the ages of 18-79 should be able to figure out how a lift works.

(Either that, or they should just learn to take the stairs)

[WE SUSPEND YOUR f*kING LICENCE FOR 3 MONTHS IF YOUR DRIVING 5km OVER THE LIMIT]

at least ur not in my position dezz and the cops trying to pin me on doing 100km/h over. Seriously thats a joke, in a residential area (60k limit) and impounding your car for churping.

Dezz, Dezz, Dezz,

What were you thinking?

If you were sideways at the time they would have a nice side on shot of you with no visible number plates showing.

Pick up your game FFS.

You drive an import, it is a social requirement to cane it silly like your willy.

If vehicle manufacturers need to abide by a 10% error on speedo's of course 2KPH leeway is fair.

    • Hi all   what short shifter do you use on your skykine r34?   my synchronous does have a problem and i was getting huge delay and grinding sound between 2nd and 3rd, did put shockproof red heavy stuff and it is great now/ no issues   would in your view short shifter screw this up?   people seems to suggest/ use cube short shifter and there is standard and premium. Seen review of premium as much better and less play. Thoughts?
    • Yeah, there's a bit of a density and friability difference between pebbles and any of those other things. Silicone will definitely float in oil and so will be mobile enough to move around. Although, again, if it is upstream of the filter it really shouldn't go any further. I would only ever worry about silicone when it is in places downstream of the filter. Upstream of the pickup is a whole 'nother matter. We've all seen what that does. I have seen the most abominable crap settled out in industrial gearboxes, trunnion lube systems and the like, without any sign that any of it has touched anything in the machine. Just chilling in the bottom, waiting for the inevitable operator error that causes the whole machine to need to be dismantled for repairs.
    • I have seen enough fire and brimstone from TSBs about roloc disks causing spun bearings that foreign object contamination is top of mind for me. For sufficiently large particles you might be right but usually it’s a distribution of debris and some of the larger particles can also break down and shed bits. If local shops report RTV contamination in a turbo is enough to wreck them I’m taking zero chances if I can help it.
