Dyno results for today were 480rwhp on 18psi - Im pretty happy with that :-)

Started to lean out a smidge anything over that so looks like Ill need two 044's now.

Full boost with the T04Z is 3600rpm on the dyno.

Its pretty angry now.

Hi Brad, I have seen 650 bhp using a single 044 and that with some fuel returning to the tank. I did measure that return and it was enough for another 80 bhp or so. So I doubt that the 044 is the problem at 480 rwhp, maybe have a look at the lines and fuel filters first. Also make sure that the pump is receiving the minimum ~13.8 volts.

Brad in Perth had a similar leaning out problem and his problem was the lift pump running out of flow.

:D cheers :P

Yeah it could be the lines - good point. My 044 is in the tank.

It runs straight of the battery via a relay so voltage isnt an issue.

If you have a pressure gauge, compare the pressure at the fuel rail compared to the pressure at the pump. They should be the same, if the pressure at the pump outlet is higher, then there is a restriction in the flow.

:D cheers :P

no to use rb26 head studs on a 25 head u need to drill the block/head to suit

rb20/25/30 are all the same type 12mm and 26 are 13mm from memory

you just need to source 25 ones

just bought some arp head studs and on the box it says 11mm for teh 25 and apparently teh bloke rekons teh 30 ones are also 11mm but were 30 odd bux more expensive

would you also need an after market main stud kit if running around max of 24 psi with about 300rwkw??

The rb30 ones are heaps longer, main stud kit not needed, but while its apart, its easy to do, roguepi on ebay has them fairly cheap.

Nice result Brad, what size turbine housing you got??

And what size injectors?

ahh yep 11mm for 25 and 12mm for 26 head studs

i purchased arp main studs, werent to expensive either  shame they dont make them in the 2000 series for the 30's tho

i got all mine from [200] on the forum, very nice bloke to deal with :D

It lives. All together and running in for dyno tomorrow but the bugger doesn't like the old fuel or the 26 temp sensor which is a direct plugin but reads mega high.

Oh well some fun for tomorrow.

Hey Andrew

850cc Sards

and 0.84 exhaust - split pulse

Injectors should be big enough hey, you run a rising rate regulator?

Also what size exhaust and how long (full/ half) you got?

Post up or PM me a dyno graph, im keen to see how the power is compared to my GT35/40.

WELL DONE Brad !!!!! That is some serious hp for only 18psi....now its time for 30psi+ and making boost at only 36rpm..some people dont see that with a 35/40.

Goes to show all your bits are doing the goods...well done again.

Ariel

brad if its a 32 then its the fuel lines. we had the same problem

over here. the 32 lines are smaller than the 33/34 ones.. i ran 512bhp @ the hubs on one tomei in tank pump, but mines a 33, my mate ran the same set up in a 32gtr and ran out of fuel @ 495bhp @ the hubs.about 570 @ the fly..bernie.

Brads is a 33. I thought all skylines has 5/16" fuel lines yeh?

If it was a 32 he would be lucky enough to utilise his hicas lines as fuel lines as i think they are about 3/8"...farking imperial is shit house, 8mm is bigger then 5/16" and 10mm is bigger then 3/8". Being Jap i thought they would have actual 8mm fuel lines not 5/16", or maybe they do?

I just got to scan dyno graph - will post it up here soon.

Sard regulator, 3 inch exhaust full length - with a CES cat ( rated at 700 bhp )
