Dad and I will be out there.

you will need a tagged fire extingisher with metel bracket (fire services tas have em). a helmate, long sleaved clothes, CAMS L2S (~$85), Club membership ($50 for the LCCT), entry is $80-$90 (depends on their mood). and you need a blue triangle stuck on your car to show where the battary is.

my L2S is valid upto the 28th of Feb, i'm gunna ring CAMS and ask them what to do, cause you mabee able to fill out the form for national rally at an event, and get a temp # so you can get your events under your belt.

pissed off i can't do this, licence hasn't turned up, been too busy sorting car out and its not ready...

might slip out for a look still though

Ben has your licence turned up yet?

If you've got a receipt or payment reference number for your licence, you should be O.K. from a licence point of view.

Was a good day today, too hot for turbo car though. In the middle of the day my car was down 12k on the back straight cause of the heat. I ended up with a best of 1:05.17, which i'm happy with considering the car has only been going a week, and i'm still getting used to the brakes, and i have street tyres.

But I lost one of the center caps of my wheels >_<

Spun the hub caps off her M8.... Looked smooth and clean today. Hope Brendan is OK, never nice to have an issue with another car. Both victims of huge speed difference I think, which is always an issue at those types of events

Was he doing an OLT? Did he get it OK?

If they are the ones with a "S" symbol I think I have one - will check and drop it into your oldman at work if it's up the shed.

Ciao

We were both doing our OLT's, when we left we forgot to go and check and see how we went, let alone get any forms signed, i'll have to make contact with the club during the week about it.

Dad will never admit it, but he was shaken by the incident. Steave wouldn't have even known dad was coming, as there were no blue flag's waved.

what incedent? any pics of the day? you should look into a water spray setup for the hot days.

Dad cought a Cortina GT, he went to go past on the left as the crossed the line, the Cortina didn't know he was there (no blue flags), he clipped dad in in the rear drivers side, put the Cortina into the wall, and dad was going backwoulds over the hump in the first corner, dad ended up in the pit exit (similar path to when the v8 supercars took out the bigpond signs).

the LCCT should have pics up on their site soon.
