Just bought a GTR & owner has only done about 1'500KM's since the last change but its been over 12 months as it was never driven. Should i change it or will it be ok for another few thousand?

I have herd to change every 6-12 even if you dont rack up many KM's. Its motul 300v if it makes a difference.

Pull the dipstick and have a look at the oil on the end. If it's still clean and clear, then it should be basically ok - it won't "go off" doing nothing.

Yeah. Oil sitting in your sump for a year is almost like it sitting in an oil bottle for a year. It should be fine.
