Intake Temp

Hi all,

Im a new member so this may have already been covered else where, but am looking for info on intake temps on stock & modded r32 gtr's.

I have an r32 gtr, engine just run in after extensive upgrades.

I had a track day at barbagallo this week and found i was getting intake temps up to 55 deg C.

I installed the stock heat shields over the stainless manifolds as there was excessive heat from them and found flat out i got the intake temps down to 45 deg C.

However driving on the road i am still getting up to 53 deg C due to heat soak.

Obviously i'm a little over careful after just rebuilding the engine, and i cant remember what the intake temps were like prior to the rebuild.

If anyone can let me know what they are experiencing it would be appreciated.
