Hey guys, the crappy mechanics i went to today didnt do up my intercooler piping properly and on the way home one of the pipes popped off and my car wouldnt hold revs.

Luckily i was near my work where theres another mechanic i know and i borrowed his tools to put it all back together.

Anyway in the process of pulling it all apart to get to the loose pipe i noticed that the inside of my turbo elbow and silicone joiner was coated in oil. Could this have happened in the few minutes that i was continually starting it and limping bit by bit to get off the road? Or is it something that would have been happening for a while and really need to worry about?

I havent checked the rest of my intercooler and piping for oil deposits yet but i'll have a look in the morning.
