Little story to regale you with about yesty-

The company I work for manages carparks, I get this call last night from the operations manager saying some woman in north sydney didn't get back to the carpark before it closed, and she was willing to pay the days charges and the callout fee to get her car out.

I'm thinking "woot!- 100 bux, coming up". So i finish in the topend of the CBD at 9pm and catch a taxi to n.syd (on the company), let this lady out, and pocket the C-note.

But now I had to catch a bus/train back to the city....or so I thought- just as I walk out the door to head down to the station, an old Polish couple from melbourne hail me over to their car to ask for directions to the opera house. I start to explain it, then stop and say "hey, i need to go back to the city anyway- so how 'bout i just navigate on the way? " So we head off, arrive at teh opera house in no time thanks to my mad skillz (the dude admitted he would have had no chance of getting there trying to remember the directions ), and when I get out, the lady gives me $10 for helping them out , even though they just saved me time and moneh anyway.

$110 tax-free dorra for under 30 minutes 'work'.

And to top it off- the first bus that came along at circular quay was the 470, which drops me off right near the bottlo at Annandale shops (unlike the Parra road buses up the southern end of Annandale), so i could grab my 6-pack of Pure Blondes for last nights forum-whoring
