II Chris II
I'm not sure lately i've been looking around alot b/c i'm out to buy a car that i'm actually happy with, and every soarer i see is only automatic, is it just my bad luck or do soarers only come in auto? Or can you change the engine and transmition? Any words of advice when buying my car? ~Chris Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15468-is-it-me-or/ Share on other sites

Guest RedLineGTR
soarers are highly made in auto form, cos of it's nature to be a luxury car, there are manual but are reasonably rare, but you can get them one in every five or so. keep looking dont be in too much of a hurry, you'll find a manual just takes time a importer get them to track one down for ya. Hope it helps. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15468-is-it-me-or/#findComment-316234 Share on other sites

rs73
Most soarers are autos due to the fact that they market it to different groups of ppl. The 3.0L non turbo and the 4.0L V8 ones are almost 100% manuals. Hardly any executive in Jpn would want a manual in the upmarket version. You might be lucky to find a manual for the 2.5L turbo version. But there is a manual twin turbo soarer out there if you really patience, and wait, and look around very hard.... but be mindful that owning a manual soarer can be a pain as parts for manual gearbox can be very hard to find if you ever stuff your box. So you gotta treat your car with respect. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15468-is-it-me-or/#findComment-316236 Share on other sites

SS8_Gohan
definitely cruise mobiles, get a nice subtle kit for it, updated front lights or whatever they did for the later models, drop it so you can't drive over a piece of paper, 18inch rims... you're ready for a night out on the town! but depends on what ur after, it it's just to cruise, maybe get one. But after performance and handling, look skyward Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15468-is-it-me-or/#findComment-316621 Share on other sites
