Hey All

I've had a persistant fuel leak from my fuel cap. I think the insert that is glued into the filler neck (part of compliance) has never completely sealed, so occasionally after filling up I get some spill going round left hand corners.

I've removed the insert and want to re-seal it in place. Has anyone got some suggestions for an adhesive/sealant to do this with? I'm guessing fuel tank sealant will do it, but I'm curious if anyone has experience....

Thanks

Dan

the best stuff I've used is devcon. they grey black one. It sets farken hard and doesn't get affected by the petrol fumes. you will have to prep both surfaces a bit first. some people have used silastic with reported success.
