hey guys yesterday i was takn off my afm to replace the pod filter. and noticed a bit of oil on d lip of d afm. i know al of u r gna say its a bit of blow by so instal a catch can. but 2 mechnics have previously told me my turbo sounds unhealthy as it makes a whining noise. could the bit of oil in d pipe that conects to d afm be caused by the turbo? or would it definately be blow by?

also there is no oil in d bov or its hot pipe, in case dat helps

thanx

zack

k&n is oil based. so it could be that if it was a small amount.. if you have cleaned it and put too much oil it will get caught in the air flow meter. so yeah jus use some electric contact cleaner on ur afm and you'll be sweet.

but not being a mechanic, not to sure on the turbo theory you have been given, im sure other people would be able to give some info though

thing is d oil came from d pipe dat d afm conects to. not d actual pod. or so i think nyway

If your turbo is making a whinning noise it sounds like it could be on its last legs. An oil seal may have gone which is allowing oil to travel back up your intake pipe. Do you have oil after the compressor as in the intercooler pipe?

Also please type english it makes helping you alot easier.

Chris

how do you even say that? onestly? did you make that up? i bet you did.

and what does 'i THINK i DEFINITELY' mean?

if u gna cum to dis flamin mongrelry lern 2 speek da propa england ya bloody immigant.

why do you always need confirmation? 2 turbo specialists told you your turbo was rooted. your cylinder pressure is good AND you got oil in your cooler piping.
