Just looking into buying an Eboost2 controller and some new gauges.

I've hit a wall deciding whether to get a boost gauge or not as Im not sure whether or not the Turbosmart Eboost2 controller has an actual boost gauge within its display. As I obviously dont want to have a separate auto meter boost gauge next to my eboost displaying the same info when i could have a voltmeter or another gauge etc. And I need to buy them at the same time as I am making a custom panel to mount them in my dash for a factory look.

So my question is, to anyone that knows or has an Eboost controller, does it have a boost gauge which stays on while your driving, working like a digital boost gauge? Or does it just tell you what the boost is set at?

I have tried ringing a few autobarn stores which sell them but nobody seems to know what they are on about, just giving me ummms and aaaahhhs.

Yes, it will display live boost readings as well as the peak reading. It will display this in both analogue and digital formats.

So it would be silly of me to go mounting an autometer boost gauge right next to it? OR would it still be worth it. Orthewise id just have a voltmeter instead.

eboost is good , but expensive . sbcid3 is cheaper and just as good

couldnt go wrong with either and the guage format is sxy

but the blitz has the ricey screen

that is an extremely flat boost curve though! hard to argue with that

The e-boost 2 has soooo many functions u dont even use half of them, can have like 6 boost settings or some stupid sh*t hahaha

Can the Blitz controller switch external items like 2-steps and nitrous? I was happy with my old Blitz Dual SBC but went Turbosmart for that reason.

What about spiking?? Does eboost 2 have a mechanism to eliminate boost spikes which can kill your engine???

It has adjustable sensitivity control which will help you tune out any spiking. It also uses a very good solenoid.
