ignore this pic... NOTE: THAT IS THE WRONG MISSION MOUNT, i misplaced the other custom made one at a friends house and will install it later, this one is temp and only using 2 of 4 bolts... but i just posted this to show you the shifter lines up like a dream!

later i will measure the drive shaft that i use... and finish the headache that is the electrical... unfortunately the harness isn't the most beautiful thing so its kinda a headache...

oh oh :), new lights

muhahaha.... go massive rad? and cooler?

haha too big is bad... sticking with the GTR IC and the S14 Rad for now... might update the radiator later...

Oh the shop.... well my Buddy here who owns a shop called Bee R somthing like that? he lets us use the shop anytime we want....

..... naw im just kidding... actually we have a full do it yourself shop here on the Air Force Base, 5 Lifts, and about 6 outside stalls oh and a shitty paint booth.... any tool you need you just check out, some of the tools aint worth a damn but we got enough to get the jobs done.... it cost about Y500 an hour for a lift... ill snap some picks when i get out there next time.

bahaha i got da joke 1st rite on :domokun: well yea i no da massive rad is possitive, but big cooler = more lag :P

exactly... GTR IC is about right for the SR20.... to thick of a rad wont cool right either, i got a good setup just sit tight guys...

so where'd the grenades go????

right now they are a coffee table... but good news is im getting tires this weekend and should be able to throw them on for some pics... so sit tight//

there's no such thing as to big a radiator

SR20 is my favourite motor, i wish i could afford one for my skyline

i should be a tightass and buy a blown one and rebuild it with NA crank and rods

ahh im talking about the fact that to big/thick of a radiator can actually cool less efectively as a thinner one at times. depending on hte fin density and blah blah blah... im happy with the S14 rad and might just go up to a alum-rad and thatll be fine... gonna focus more on the ducting, and shroud...

well see

dats realy to do with da inter cooler isnt it?

the more water/ coolant shud be at least making up for any loss efectively.... well if there is any

i like the idea about the ducting... if its sealed pretty tight shud be able to build up a decent amount of pressure altho still needs any exit pathway for the air... if u get wat i mean :)

yeah exactly, exiting out the hood vent...

well lets cross our fingers, should be able to start her up this weekend... but if all else fails ill get the wheels on and give her a bath at least....

Ok more pics... the electrical seams to be holding me up (that and money)

because im using a Cefiro electrical harness with conversion, and a SR ECU/Engine harness even though it came from a running car im still looking at it and saying WTF where does this go...

so this weekend the headlights worka and it cranks but doesnt start... well i also dont have the IC yet so thats part of it...

All the underbody is done with the exception of the transmission mount which i will explain now...

Ok i think i have figured this formula out here, with the knowledge i have put together from two AT to MT R32 swaps, one AT to MT S13 swap, and one MT RB to MT SR mission swap.

ok heres what we have to start....

TOP: S13 SR mount for a factory MT car

MIDDLE: RB MT Mount for a car that is factory MT (not converted)

BOTTOM: SR custom MT mount made for a Cefiro that came factory with a AT

note: these are all facing the correct way

DSC02171.jpg

so i have determined....

R32: for a R32 RB20 factory AT to be converted to a MT you need the S13 MT Mount to install (TOP)

A31: Same for a A31 RB20 factory AT to be converted to a MT you need the S13 MT Mount to install (TOP)

A31, R32: For a factory RB20 AT car to be converted to a SR20 MT you will need a custom mount (BOTTOM) and the S13/S14 Engine Mount also.

A31, R32: for a factory RB20 MT car (like mine) to be converted to a SR20 MT you will need the S13 MT mount (TOP) and S13/S14 Engine Mount also. oh and the 130cm S-Car drive shaft (measured from tranny end to diff tip)

Example of the (BOTTOM) custom mount where the (TOP) S13 Mount should be, maybe can get two holes to line up if i didn't have the Uras Urethane-Mount installed...

DSC02170.jpg

in think that covers what i know so far...

anyways some pics for update...

thats a 17inch 8J wheel and tire in the engine bay haha ran out of storage places...

DSC02174.jpg

S13 engine mount and rack with 8mm rack spacers equal ridiculous angle...

DSC02172.jpg

DSC02173.jpg

sorry only pics i have cause i didnt get a chance to clean it up, or Lower/adjust the suspension...
