got some fuel hose thats 100psi and wondering if its enough for the 2 lines at the fuel filter??

googling around and im seeing hose thats in excess of 500psi so im trying to avoid a messy engine bay.

to be safe lets say the car will be running just over 25psi

I'd give it a miss, go a minimum rating of 250psi.

why whats the point?

as a general rule of thumb hose will hold at least 20% (from memory) more pressure than it's rated to.

100psi fuel hose will be more than adequate, just make sure you use some decent hose clamps and not those stupid wire things most jap cars seem to use.

EFI Hose is rated to SAE30R9 standard.

So many people flog of normal carby fuel hose SAE30R7 as EFI hose, so be careful.

Difference is SAE30R7 working pressure is 50psi and min burst pressure of 250psi.

SAE30R9 working pressure is 125psi and min burst pressure of 900psi.

You should always buy hose to the SAE rating, not to mention the materials and layers are different between the hoses as well for intended duties.
