The Unthinkable- Need A Tow Hook On My R33

Need to have a removable tow bar put on my R33 GTS-25t. I refused to have one put on my r32, but it made work very difficult for me. I need to tow a light trailer a couple of times a week and can not afford to run multiple cars.

So I am looking for a solution that is cheap, easy and won't ruin the look of my car (like cutting a big hole in my rear bumper).

My Fathers Jag came with a removable J style tow bar which is fitted vertically with a long bar that comes down and around the bumper so when it is not attached you would never know the car had one. Has anyone ever seen these for sale? And where?

Has anyone done this before and have any tips?

There is a thread, something about an S14 200 SX towbar will fit. Otherwise it's a custom build. Maybe try the search tool as well.

Let me know how you go with this! Jeremy is thinking of putting 1 on his R33 to tow his motorbike. Its either that or sell it and buy a ute.

Mine is often on boost when towing.

Needed a towbar for a work promotion of sorts, but I turned it down. Not worth putting a hole in the bumper of my new car for a few extra dollars a week.
