Is R34 Power Steering Pump Same As R33?

Instead of being smart and replacing my f**ked p/s and alt belts I just kept tightening them. Now my power steering is making funny noises so I suppose I've stuffed something.

Can anyone confirm my suspicions?

Also are R33 nad R34 p/s pumps the same?

i think the pulley offset is differrent, i have a near new R34 one (wit bracket) here but could not use it on the 26 beacuse it did not space out enough it was about 3.5mm to short and the belt was crooked, the R33 one and bracket worked fine. maybe the bracket is the differrence not the pump tho.
