Boost Guage Question

Hi Ppl,

just recently had my r33 serviced, and noticed that the stock boost guage while the car is idle, sits about a quarter the way up the guage (between -7 and 0)...is this normal. I'm pretty sure it stayed at -7 before when idle?

Also, at around the same time, I took the car in for a wheel alignment because the rear tyres are wearing on the inside, but then was told that because it was IRS, that nothing could be done. Why would IRS effect camber??

It hasn't, but its running 18's, and the rear tyres are 265/35's

Mine sits more toward the -7

I replaced the vacuum hose from the plenum to the map sensor and the needle dropped a slight bit as i had some vacuum leak

mine only sits on about -9 on my E-01 on idle and -12 when off throttle cruising down a hill ...

Indicates a vacuum leak somewhere but my idle etc is smooth as and no stalling issues etc ???? think mine is due to some dodgy vacuum line plumbing when the FMIC was installed....

my mates 32 sits on -15 to -20 on idle.... which is on the -7 (and beyond) on the standard guage

You can fix the camber with offset bushes, goto bursons and they can help you out!
