I have a pretty basic question.

I have just bought a couple of Z32 AFM's and a PowerFC to go with my Skyline and I was wandering what I need to do to fit the AFM's to the car. I have the plugs already, I guess I am more interested in finding out what I need to do to physically replace the AFM's?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

you will need to rewire them as per Paulr33's site

then you will need to get pipes made up to convert the std 65mm hose to the new 80mm Z32 AFM's

You dont need to make new pipes to fit them at all.

I have recently fitted them to my GTR with Tomei AFM plugs.

The new plugs needed to be wired in to replace the factory AFM plugs, and some adapter plates were custom made for me by CRD to allow the Z32 AFM's to bolt on to my existing Apexi pod adapters.

z32AFM/PowerFC combination should give a gain in power and fingers crossed a better power curve. At least these are the reasons I am making the modifications to my GTR.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I am going to see if I can stretch the rubber hoses to fit and get a couple of adapter plates made up.

it will provide you with nothing more than tuning resolution

you should only need z32s if you are seeing the stock afms going to 5v

nothing else to be gained

stretching the houses doesnt sound like a good idea

apexi make a power intake kit to suit rb26 and z32s 80mm kit
