ive done a few track days with some old slicks and i seem to be waring these out.

is there a kit that replaces these little ball joints with a more sturdy rod end type arangment? cos im getting tyred of pressing these things out. lol.

Yeah Dave we've had huge trouble with them and have been replacing them to. Would love to hear about a better solution....once they are worn the wheels can move through a degree or 2 it is very disconcerting

if actual thread size is the same as the front tie rod's *not sure myself* couldnt you try rose jointed tie rods?

youd probly get better lateral moovement. driftshop.com "alternative to add Steering Lock using the factory Tie Rods. These allow you to get more Drift Angle by reducing your turning circle and turning the wheels on a greater angle. Drift Almost perpendicular on the straight aways and corner entires!"

$425

maybe not a good idea then lol

On a side note; I had been thinking about raising the the hicas rack position to reduce bump steer in a similar way to whats shown on the gibson car in the photo. Looks like i was about 17 years too late for my idea to be original
