Rockgate Fosgate any good?

I hear a bit about these speakers now and then..

Was wondering about the FNX2406 - the 2 way splits with the separate crossover. Looking around they seem much cheaper than I expected $250??

I was budgeting around $450 for some good splits for my front for my system, however the money situation has held me back. However if i can get something good for $250 i may be tempted to buy now.

Any other suggestions for under $300 and above $200 (e.g. no sony, kenwood, pioneer, etc).

i've been lookin for splits for soooo loooonng .. please let me know if they re any good ... i just got offered second hand focal polycoats for 200 .. i think i might just get that ...

Could always buy a pair and if they're not as good as I'd like move them to the back for the rear fill later on.

If I don't get one of the other brands, will probably just end up getting the 6 1/2" Alpine Type R's splits (SPR-176A). They are around $420

Don't get Rockgate mixed up with Rockford.

Rockford fosgate = top quality and sound

Rockgate fosgate = cheap imo rip off!

yeah i just bought a pair of focals .. didn't fit my speaker holes ... these were 6.5" ... i think i had aftermarket speakers with the holders in there ... whats the brand of the stock speakers .. does anyone know??
