Hehe, yeah it was a bit pricey. But the end result speaks for itself, plus I'm not the most confident of people when it comes to D.I.Y

As this is a car I'll be pretty much planning on keeping for years to come I'm taking the approach of doing it right the first time to save any hassles down the track

Hey guys.

I picked up some gauges recently to evaluate for market with the express intention of mounting them in the standard location.

They are "Defi Style" gauges with peak recall, smoked face, etc etc etc.

Anywho, they are 60mm and lot and behold the fit EXACTLY, and I mean EXACTLY in the opening in the standard 3 gauge hood!! Bonus!

Here are a couple of pics. They aren't wired in yet, that's for my sparky, but they are installed and all the cables are run.

To hold them in place I bent up a piece of 25mm wide mild steel and put some nutserts in there to hold the bolts in.

Hey Bass,

where did u get those defi gauges from? Keep us posted on ur progress, i'd like to see the gauges in car and working as im looking for similar type of gauges since my factory boost gauge has been playing up lately.

Hi mate,

I'm evaluating these gauges for quality and accuracy before I bring them to market.

Can tell you my source just yet, but they have the peak recall, warning light, opening ceremony etc etc.

I will definitely let you guys know and post pics and videos once they are running.

My boost gauge was "intermittent" in it's working condition.....

mine are stepmaster swiss movement, and have warning light (whole gauge flashes red), warning sound, opening ceremony, no peak value but the warning is adjustable to any figure. also mine are blue or white led gauge, depending on how you wire them

mines white when headlights are off, blue when on
