Just have a few probs i need help with i bought a r34 from the auction and just need help on the these few problems

Is it normal for tcs off to be displayed on the dash and if so what is it? I see a tcs button/switch below the steering wheel but doesnt seem to do anything

Also on the dash Slip is displayed there too? same as above is that normal?

And just a engine question any ideas whta the problem could be when there is a burning smell from the engine bay? near the turbo i think and little bit of steam/smoke coming from the right hand side? Ok thanks any replies appreciated

The TCS OFF light means your traction control is off...it should be ON by default when you turn ur car on. Same with the SLIP light...those warning lights are telling you something is not right...u need to check for error codes through the consult port.

Burning smell and steam/smoke is not a good sign. Take it to a reputable machanic asap!
