Hicas Light And Steering Problem While Driving..

Hi ppl,

in short..i take the freeway to wrk and bk home..so yest and 2day i noticed the hicas light come on..while going at 100kmhr..and each time..the car tries swervez very slightly and i have to stop the car and start again..and the light goes off..

i hav not locked to d/c the hicas unit in any way.. my car is a r33 gtst 1995 series 1

i need some help asap..as i need the car to get to wrk for the rest of this week atleast..

what could be the causes and solutions in fixing it for the moment??

it could be an early sign of power steering pump failure, or even alternator failure..

how does your battery charge?

how is the steering? heavy, light, or normal?

ps search for "+hicas +light +steering" and you will find information

battery charge is good..keep consistant at like 13.5v.. steerin feels normal..

are you using an aftermarket steering wheel?

no im not...today..on the way bk hme frm wrk..i think the hicas f*kt up..my steering wheel has to be on a 45deg angle to the left..for the car to go straight..ive checkd fuses!!.. someone help plz..

time for a mechanic or autoelectrician i think...

took the car for diagnostic..nothing came up..they checked the hicas unit..the sensor was rooted..so just put lock bar in its place.
