When I was in the market for an EBC I found this article helpful > Electronic Boost Controllers Comparison <

My mate has the Blitz ID-3 & I think it's still one of the bestest EBC's around but, with that said I have the more simpler GReddy Profec B-Spec II. I chose this purely for the wank factor of the optional wireless remote switch :iluvff: & it does the job wonderfully.

i have a (HDI) hybrid electronic boost controller, just high and low but boost can be adjusted in cabin... it uses the same solenoid i've noticed as... apexi & turbosmart... thats all i've noticed from looking.. its a mac solenoid and the solenoid is only worth $60 lol can you belive that shit? but i suppose the electronic components in the actually controller is what counts but so far so good... Holds boost no problem and its the best $250 i've spent.. just dusn't look like the prettiest thing in the world lol

I have a kiwi boost controller. the gizmo, it's electronic and you can set it for 4 separate boost levels. it only cost me $350. so it's pretty cheap for electronics. Now I just need a better turbo to warrant having 4 levels of boost....

I have a HKS EVC (Electronic Valve Controller) on my grey GTR that supposedly improves midrange and responsiveness of the RB26 as well as acting as a boost controller. It certainlly comes on full boost earier (~1000rpm) than my white GTR which uses a GReddy Profec B.

Cheers for all the replies! For those of you that have the GReddy Profec B-Spec II would you consider to be a great buy? I was just thinking, since im a while away from actually upgrading the turbo is it worth me getting something like the Blitz ID-3 controller?

Any thoughts appreciated!!!

I own a profec spec b 11, its a great buy! Have a look at www.performancewise.com.au he's good to deal with, does specials for sau!

Yeah OR for a manual one that ONLY costs like $30, go for the turbotech, mine has worked excellent since i bought it and very easy to adjust.

i also have the turbo tech same with my mate whos got a Mx6 hes put his in the cabin so he can change boost on the fly  i will do the same one day

yeah same here i put one in my mx6, it's cheap and easy to install! but i need a stupid fuel cut defender! i can only jack it up to around 5-6 psi at the moment because my intercooler brings in too much air! with a stock intercooler it can be boosted to around 10 psi before the fuel cut sets in!

if you want i can hook you up with a dude that can retune your ECU and gets rid of those  pluss has a better tune for $250 my mate got his done and no anooying beep when boosting high
