My ceffy has no blow off valve (from factory) and this problem has come about all of a sudden.

Last service about 2 weeks ago, I noticed one of the lines to the charcoal cannister had perished and pretty much come off so I put a new vaccum hose on.

I thought this would solve my problem.

Since then its the same thing, come to the lights the idle hunts, it doesnt stall but it gets DAMMN close.

Ive checked over the vac lines plenty of times. The air flow meter has been cleaned, oxy sensor replaced.

I dont know what else? Im getting horrendous Fuel economy as well - like insanely bad.

Ive cleaned out the AAC Valve and the problem has got even worse.

Car cold idles fine, you come to a stop, it idles for about 10 seconds at 900-1000 then starts dropping like rotational idle almost on the verge of stalling.

Im lost here plz any suggestions, ive had many RBs before and none of them ever had idle problems like this.

try the stepper motor, my ceffy had the same prob after getting serviced especially if its auto the stepper motor has a harder time keeping the revs up. it needs to be freed up cuz it sticks if it keeps doing it you proly need a new stepper motor, nuffing major :O
