some things you should know about titanium

a) it's hard to get ('cause the U.S military uses a good deal of the worlds yearly production)

b) it's obscenely expensive (see point a)

and

c) it's hard to weld well

But other than that, it's tops

At any rate- try some of the larger metal supply companies. They can prolly point you in the right direction even if they don't sell any.

d) It's the 9th most abundant element in the Earth's crust and the 4th most abundant metal. The reason it's expensive is because it's hard to extract.

Inconel is the material that most F1 exhausts are made from and so was the McLaren F1 road car.

It would be cheaper to make the exhaust out of Platinum

Inconel is also very stable under high temperatures. Can be heat treated with next to no warping.
