Hi all,

Have Looking at buying a Cube as a Daily. Have test driven 3 of them now with the 1.4L 4 speed auto. The first one made a slight jolt between 1st and 2nd gear, thinking this was a dud, we moved on to the 2nd and finally 3rd car, but have found all 3 to act the same. Is this a fault of the transmission or just one of those 'this is how it is' things? Apart from that they are a smooth ride and an Awesome choise for a daily.

Mine is a little rough when cold but smooth once warm. 100,000klm. No idea if it is normal, terrible, or about to die

Yeah mine does it too when it's cold. I'm hoping a fluid change might lessen it a bit...

its normal. the S2 versions do not do it. have driven and stripped both they are different cars.

talk to cube cars (google is your friend) about them he's had both as personal cars and knows a great deal about them mechanically. (I know the electrics reasonable well.)

A few M35's on here came from there and each one had issues....that wasn't disclosed to their new owners!
