I recently purchased a set of Ferrea valves part # F1934P and F1936P to suit RB25DET 1mm oversize. Only problem is...they are wrong.

I rang Ferrea and told them their valves are wrong and they asked me if maybe I had made an error but I informed them that this was not possible. They thanked me for bringing this terrible mistake to their attention and I promptly sent sample valves to them in Florida for inspection.

Wondering if anyone else has purchased these valves from Ferrea and if they were the correct valve or not?

The issue is the stem length which is around 15 - 20mm longer on both intake and exhaust.

No uninformed suggestions please...just if you have bought or used these valves. Or if you have used other brands of oversize valves for RB25DET only.

Cheers, Daniel.

Turns out I was right. It was Performance Wholesales mistake all along. Ferrea confirmed that the valves were to suit 1999-2002 RB25DET.

I have sent them a sample head with valves so that they can start producing early RB25 valves, springs and other head components. I have also sent them RB20DET cylinder head complete so that they can start making parts for them also.

They will be the only company that I know of to do a direct bolt in valve replacement for RB25DET or RB20DET so stay tuned for the results of that.

HAHAHA When they told you that they were unaware of the issue, they were full of $hit. I and another guy were having ours cut to the proper length for a S1/S2 RB25DET two weeks before you talked to them because they only had NEO sized valves for the solid lifters. I talked to Zeke for about 20 minutes and told him that there's a larger US market for non-NEO RB25's than NEO, but he didn't seem to believe me.

I'm having issues with my installed valve height now too and it is either because the valves were not machined to factory specs or my valve job was a little too aggressive.
