My Weekend - Installed Boost Controller

Just thought I'd share with everyone what I got up to this weekend... actually it only took a couple of hours but it's the most exciting part of my weekend so anyways.

Installed my new Blitz Dual SBC Spec R boost controller into the Stagea and wound up the boost a bit for the first time. The install is very straight forward and given that I used to have the same boost controller in my R33 tuning it was relatively simple too. Just took at few test runs to get it exactly right...

Anywho, I wound it up to approx. 1 bar to see how she went and the top end result is really quite good. I don't think the gearbox is liking shifting with that much boost so I'm probably going to run a bit less until my shift kit arrives from MV. Overall I'm pretty please with the result.

Well done! I hope that 1bar wasnt on the stock turbo, if it is then say bye to it soonish.

Ska, Yes 1 bar was on the stock turbo and believe me based on previous experience the stock turbo will run 1 bar perfectly OK without causing problems for quite some time especially considering I don't drive around on full boost all the time. I did it for several years with my R33 with no issues... and if something does happen to go wrong... oh dear I will *have* to upgrade.
