Yeh.. adding to Berin's comment, IF you have the cash you might as well do the entire 100k service while you're at it to save on labour later, IF it hasn't been done already, which is pretty much what we did when I did my gasket recently.. (Thanks to Jack for picking me up in the city!!)Except we did all of it at home so it was.. less than 1k, basically just parts and a torque wrench etc. Head wasn't warped luckily.

My coolant went all over the injectors, fuel rail etc which was a pain, had just replaced all the bloody ORings too. And now it looks like my coilpacks are fried.

There's a thread somewhere on everything you should do in the 100k service, but alot of ppl only do the bare minimum, depends how much you want to spend. Of course things like brakes etc, non engine components or top hoses can be done later.

Ray rang me yesterday .He got the head back and its fine so its all getting put back together now and will be back on the road buy the end of the week.. So all good for this weekend.. see ya there ..

i saw ur head there yesterday while i was playing with my car. it looks shiny as. hopefully they'll start my head gasket when urs is finished and we'll both sweet as cars :wave:
