Depends on alot of factors like your power/torque curve peak power point, post up your dyno graph so we can analyse it.

Here's my graph... I'm no expert but it does look like I could gain a few tenths by not shifting so high

Ye, but a VL weight is a lot less, and they are using Autos.

Two key factors that does change things quite a bit

And using autos, that was the whole point of the thread in the way they were set-up I was refering to running 10's mate with 300rwkw+..it was off topic to r33god though just stating some points from what 700hpGTR said.

My 12.60 was with a 1.70 60ft @ 190kW - drag radials.

The 12.79 was with a 1.85 60ft @ 190kW - street shitters.

Go check the weight of an SL Berlina vs an R33.

You'll find its a fair bit more than 50kg's if you do some research.

Go check the numbers for yourself if you think im wrong.

I grew up around VL's, and only the Calais come close to the weight of an R33

Thats 1383kgs, last time I checked r33's didnt weigh more then 1400kgs??? Oh by the way I own a r33 gtst and I recently sold a vl sl berlina so thats why I was pretty confident in the weighting department..thank you thank you..

Even if it was a berlina turbo its about 50kgs lighter if that, like I previously stated...
