Will soon be looking to upgrade from the standard hairdryer on my series 1 r33 gtst. Stage one mods are already in place, fmic. pod filter, cat bac, safc11 etc. Car dynos 193 kws atw but I will be looking to bump it up to around the 250plusrwkw. I will be installing500cc injectors and a larger fuel pump but turbos are dark science to me. Totally new to them.

From what I can glean if I go too big I end up with a laggy response and if I go too small I just wont get what I hope to achieve. I think I prefer an internal gate but I can be persuaded to go either way. What setups are you using or, for the experienced tuners, what turbo would you reccomend for my purpose. Action will be street and strip.

Thanx in advance.

i would go the stage 3 hiflow from sliding performance and 700cc injectors and a full ecu to get you over the 250rwk mark with ease :(
