Rear washers when accelerating

Hi guys,

Whenever I dig the boot in in the GTR, water is forced from the washer reservoir through the tubing, out the rear jets and onto my rear screen. Does anyone else experience this phenomenon?

What can I do to stop it?

it probably remaining residue water comes out of the tube...

just disconnect them or block it off with clip.

Blocking it off won't help as then I won't be able to use the rear washers. It's just interesting that it happens; I didn't think the car could create enough Gs to force water out of the washer jets and half way up the rear screen.

Maybe your one way valve/stop **** that's in the rear washer line is stuffed.

So when you give it a boot full, gravity forces the water backward to the spray thing. ???

Yup, mine was blocekd untill I booted it and it came unstuck.

I've got the same prob with mine (R32 GTSt). Have yet to solve it, but still working on it.

Although on track days it doesn't piss out - and there are some serious G's.

It's just on the first time you boot it hard for the day, (which I hope for you isn't out the driveway). So I think it is some residual water that doesn't make it back to the resevior.

If you find a solution let me know (probably just changing over the valve or seal on the rear window spray nozzle)

Unfortunately mine is every time I boot it, not just the first time
