Mileage is pretty high for a Jap import.

That said, the plummeting R34 GT-R prices are making me seriously consider selling the Z33.

R34 GTR's can be purchased for as little as 2.6 million yen.

It has been like this for quite a while but selling for $10-20k profit seems to make more sense.

I have inspected a number of cheap BNR34's in Japan and there is always a reason they are cheap.

That would depend on the exchange rate.

In late 2004 I found one in japan ( Nagoya), I could buy for 2.5 million yen, 99 model none V-Spec, 150k k's, plenty of exposure to salt and generally rough car.

You will not buy a good V-Spec BNR 34 in Japan bellow 4 million yen ..

unfortunately the price for a good V-Spec hasn't moved in a good long while, it's just things like import duty, exchange rate, (combo of which sometimes puts it under the luxury car tax) and cheaper compliance that brings the price down.

kinda weird when you compare model prices. a decent, lightly modded, later model, will go for somewhere around 22g in Aus. compare that to a 34gtr with lots of power and style for just over double a 32.

in that respect, i think 32's are over priced. =)
