Help! Cant Open Bonnet

Hey guys!

have a little issue

my bonnet popper cable seems to have snapped

think the previous owner must have done something to it because it (maybe during gearbox replacement or other work) as it has always been really hard to open.

anway it doesn't open anymore atall now! has anyone ever had to open a bonnet manually? i can take the front bar off and get car on ramps (planning to do that tonight and have a look see )

any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!! (need to get bonnet open before saturdays dyno day!!)

undo these two bolts:

open botton a little and prop up:

undo latch with finger (and here we can see the problem):

haha.. with the GTR u can stick ur hand up the RHS of the grill and pull the wire to pop the bonnet. i was suprised when my mate was fishing around in my bay oneday.. and i locked the car and had the key..
