Do I Need An Adapter

Hi, I recently ordered an Apexi power intake pod filter. I have a rb25det R33. I just wanted to know if i needed and adapter to make it fit? When i went to buy one here in Perth both places I went to said I needed an adapter, the one I ordered from over east did not come with one :S So if anyone knows could u please let me know that would be great thank you!

it depends on which one you got. if you got the universal fit one, you'll need an adapter. if you got the one thats specific to your AFM (like you had to provide the type of car you had when ordering) then you dont need an adapter.

Ah I think this must be the specific one to my car then as i had to give specs. Funny how the 2 places i went to in Perth all told me i needed and adapter :S Cheers anyways

The Apexi power intakes bolt directly onto the AFM, there is no adaptor required.

The metal bracket is just to secure the pod to the engine bay.

Thanks guys for the quick responses. I can now install this when i get some time. Just worries me why the places i went to originally told me i needed to fork out more money for an adapter.
