Air Con Problem.....

Hey guys im not a genius on Air conditioner, but my air con dont seem to work? after i got my engine conversion from RB25DE to DET i couldnt get it to work?

Does the compressor "click" on and off?

Does it blow cold air? or cool air? or no difference to the outside temperature at all?

Did you remove the compressor and unbolt any of the lines when you removed your original engine?

my bad.

actually it doesnt click, and yes no difference from outside temp...

and the place i got my engine install from are close till march? lol

but the heater works fine...

Check to see if its gassed , you can do that by pushing on the valve just like you do on your tyres .

Check the basics first. Make sure you haven't got a blown fuse. If this is ok check the A/C pressure switch is not open (ie. with the A/C switched OFF you should have 12V either side of the switch when the Accessories is switched on). An open switch would indicate low gas pressure.

If you have continuity through the switch inspect pin 9 on the ECU and ensure it has power voltage as well (again with the A/C OFF). When you press the A/C button the voltage at pin 9 should drop to about 0V and you should then get power to the A/C compressor.

hey cheers for that, i havent checked the gas YET! but ill start from basic first and see how it goes!

HEY guys, ok i found that there is no gas in my air con, didnt bother checking the fuse as i think that pretty much sums up why it aint working
