Window Switch

The window on the drivers side is a bit of a pain to get up.

The switch always lets it go down but sometimes (not always) when you use the switch to raise the window it won't work. You have to keep clicking the switch and eventually the window will go up.

Do I need a new switch, and what bits exactly do I need.

theres a thread on this somewhere. the problem is the amplifier for the switches.

its a little black box thats hanging off a bracket. its hard to miss once you take the door trim off.

take that sucker apart then spray some contact cleaner through it.

when i put mine back together i used gasket maker to stop water from getting in (thats what i suspect is stuffing up the connection in the amps).

mine was so bad i had to solder over the tracks again.
