alright people are starting to ask questions about how its going to be made and where.

The trailer it self is going to be cut back to a bear A frame and then everything else will be custom only using the the old bbqs for parts.(Will have photos of the C.F.A Trailer soon )

This will all be built in dandenong south at a factory called PROVEX.

this will not be some shabby job we are going to make it the best trailer we have ever seen.

so more ideas and no more stuffing around we need this thread to be clean of the bull#$&t.

Sunshine - we would love the GT-R badge!

And Justin's R33 4-door has a towbar, as do a number of other 'support' vehicles :P

But has a weight limit of 850kg :P

And of course may not be around much longer, though the way it's going I will have it forever...

I hadn't heard anything about this...sounds cool.

Anyone got pics of the WRX trailer?

Here you go.....

Not too exciting (ie no rice) but it holds loads of stuff. Side and back access make it really easy to get stuff in and out (doors flip up and are on gas struts).

It may have a lot of subaru advertising on it, but that all brings in cash to keep the cost of the trailer down.

I have an old BBQ which has 3 burners. It has a hot plate and a grill on top. I put the 3 new burners on it about 18 months ago. It is on a wooden trolley thing. Any use as we are looking to upgrade?

if i had a toughening plant, then i could supply that. but we always get it from other joints.

although i do like the idea of a big sticker saying "SAU BBQ! EAT IT OR GTFO!" on the guards or something

do perspex ya mcmoron :)

doxxeh im sure ur right up with ya perspex

Thats looks awesome - do you have a link to other pics? Or even a thread about it showing inside, costs and things please?

This is something ive been thinking about doing up here

Cheers :(

I would seriously consider starting from scratch.

Building a trailer using RHS and a new axle assembly would be a better way of doing it.

The few lengths of RHS aren't going to cost alot.

The new cast hitch is about $75

Front wheel to allow it to be removed from the car and be free standing is essential.

Rear cut of an R33 is a tops idea.

The trailer would have to be registered then as an R33 is a BIG FAT WHALE and would be wide.

A new axle with whatever stud pattern you want is only a few hundred dollars, then you don't have to worry about shitty old bearings and having to buy new axles or anything.

Anywho, just my thoughts, but a new build would be much more advantageous.
