Yes i was but i was varying the speed and not staying at one speed for too long as your surposed to do. Also no use of Cruise control untill 1k

Give it curry from day one and dont look back. I've got a bucket of synthetic oil read to go into mine. Stuff this mineral/run-in rubbish

If forged motors with tight tolerances dont need a "run-in" then you dont. You might well get a bit of extra power out of it aswell

just like when you get a gearbox rebuild.... going through each gears to run it in, especially the first 500km.
