Mine is an R32 2 Door with Cusco Zero 1 Suspension, 3.5" turbo back exhaust with 4" canon, Stock type M body with GTR front bar, GTR bonnet and GTR front Grill.

the cusco zero 1 arnt ment for sydney roads lol i like them heaps ive got alot more handling capabilities but each pot hole u go over, each lil bump feels like hell which aint too good for em aswell. overall i rate them highly but sydney roads are shit house.

I've got bilsteins (sk group buy type thing) and they are the best for the money by far. I've also got big arse sway bars, 2 way diff, and supergrippy tyres. So it turns rather good.

But yeah, whatever you do DONT GET PILLOW BALL STRUT TOPS!!! They are horrible bastard things.

i have a similar setup to dangerous daveo. Jic coilovers rebuilt with bilstein insertsand eibach springs. 6 k front 4 k rear. i like it ..works well on the street and track. also s13 adjustable swaybars and strut braces. also turns rather good ! hehe (tires are my weak point at the moment.)

I also have SK group buy stuff with his Bilsteins, whiteline springs, pineapples and sway bars. Also Cusco Adj rear camber arms, cusco adj caster rods, cusco tension bar, and a Nismo front strut brace with brake cylinder stopper.

For the Exhaust I have a CES split front/dump pipe (hpc coated), magnaflow 3" metal cat and kakimoto 3" cat back.

The only body mod I have is a Nismo grill. It all seems to work pretty well. I can't speak highly enough of the suspension setup for road and track.

4dr R32 GTS-t

Suspension:

Bilstein B6 shocks, converted to coilovers with 7/5 kg/mm Eibach springs, all organised by SK.

Whiteline 27/24mm swaybars, random jap adjustable front upper arms, Tein castor rods, Whiteline rear camber bushes, alloy subframe bushes, Apexi front strut brace.

Exhaust:

HKS superdrager 3" catback, 3" front/dump pipe.

Body:

Genuine GTR front bar and factory option sideskirts.

Will the r32 2 door exhaust with on 4 door ? i also heard GTR front bar wont fit 2 4 door.

Thanks

People say pillowball mounts are good because all the Japanese stuff comes with em. When new, they will provide a bee's dick of an improvement in handling, once worn (doesn't take long to wear) they will be knocking like crazy and be worse than bushes.

Camber tops that have adjustment will do nothing on double wishbone suspension cars, the upper and lower control arms are what control the camber.

My exhaust is off a GTR, so yes a 2dr exhuast will fit, I think they're a tiny bit shorter though, not enough to worry about, mine fits fine.

Well I've got the GTR front bar on my car, so I'm gonna say it fits :)

Nah, it doesn't line up perfectly with the guards, so it bulges a bit at the front, and you need a GTR reo or to cut yours up.

If you want to do it all properly, you'd need GTR guards and GTR indicators. Might need headlights aswell, but I'm not too sure

Basically what salad said. It seriously drives me insane the knocking Im putting up with now, and I just had the bearings pressed 2months ago. Its not worth it.

i look in some pics tat r32 doesnt have top pillow mount rite ? Im thinking 2 get HSD HR coilovers do they have top pillow mount on them ? is the pillow can be rebuild ?

Thanks

Mick

in japan... and for drift...

we usually run the standard coilover...

CST, KST, Blade, HKS.... they all use the same coilvers they just slap there name brands on them...

for the Cefiro (S13 same) just shell out about $750 on average for a set fully adjustable blah blah... change the springrates (F:10k R:8k) and your good to go...

and for exhaust... Its Dart Izumi all the way... BUT since my exhaust is half SR half Cefiro its 80mm all the way back with a DI Twin tip... and a Apex EVC flap sandwiched after the J-pipe. so basically loud flame spitting kaos...

Not sure what you mean by the first question

Yes, HSD HRs come with pillowball/spherical bearing tops

Not sure about rebuilding, but if it can be done it wont be cheap...

So is HSD HR good 4 street, circuit and drift ? which model is better then ?

HSD HR is OK for street, seems to work well for drift, not sure about circuit. But you can get much much better than HSD, they are a cheap coilover aimed at a price bracket, so they will skimp on things to meet this bracket. Same with all cheap coilovers/shocks.

    • Update: Tunehouse looked into the problem and identified a wiring issue between the camera unit and the connector. They managed to get it working , but did warn me at some point it will stop working again. From their perspective it is unserviceable and will need replacement. They did some research and found that the new replacement camera would be Approx $1400 supply only (their fitting cost would be $190) . They did provide the part number (28442-JL05B) and a quick google of the part number shows that these are rather expensive brand new (seemingly no longer in manufacture) for the places that still have them in stock, with the used option potentially presenting  the same issue down the track at some unknown point. They are happy for me to supply the part so that they can fit it. Decisions, decisions... I can definitely recommend Tunehouse (thankyou Vee37!). Cost for the diagnosis was as quoted  ($190) , car was ready on time and communication was top notch. Their workshop is super clean and modern, and there was plenty of car candy parked out the front on the day I went.   Would definitely go back.
    • to fix the voltage drop issue I swapped out the old 150amp alternator which turns out is a brand known for having issues and replaced it with the black 180amp alternator beside it
    • For anyone interested, the Way Back Machine has that Japanese website archived with pictures, etc: https://web.archive.org/web/20051023225805fw_/http://www.a31cefiro.com/air_con.htm "Simply swapping the wiring of the harness will not allow it to function properly. For the outdoor air sensor and sunlight sensor, disconnect the wiring connected to CN1-11 of the air conditioning harness from the harness and connect the sensor side wiring to earth. For the indoor air sensor, disconnect the wiring connected to CN2-3 of the air conditioning harness from the harness and connect the sensor side wiring to earth. The connector PIN numbers listed here are the genuine A31 PIN numbers. To avoid incorrect wiring, check with a tester before wiring. Also, disconnect the wiring in a location close to the sensor. The disconnected harness side wiring will not be used, so be sure to insulate it." Wish someone sold a conversion harness to just plug-and-play a Kouki 180sx digital climate control into C33/A31. I'm decent with wiring but feeling kinda lazy about taking this on. Edit: Did some more digging and found a helpful Minkara blog post about the conversion as well: https://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/1831116/car/1360568/2284209/note.aspx "After installation is complete or the battery is replaced, you need to go into self-diagnosis mode and set the internal air recirculation. The way to do it is to "hold OFF with the key on for more than 5 seconds, set the number to 5, then press 卍→C." ↑↑↑It probably won't make sense unless you actually try it (・∀・)." Lol wtf
